Terms of service
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the website, its public API, or any related service, you agree to these terms. You must be of legal age and legally able to enter into them where you live. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. What the Services are
Taosis is an informational explorer for the Bittensor network. It reads prices, balances, validator and subnet data directly from the public Bittensor chain and presents them, together with aggregated news. It optionally lets you sign your own staking transactions through your own wallet. Everything is provided for information only. Taosis is non-custodial: it never holds, controls or has access to your funds or your private keys. Any transaction is signed in your own wallet and broadcast by you.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of your wallet, its seed phrase and any device you use. You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to disrupt, overload, abusively scrape, or attempt unauthorised access to them or to the infrastructure behind them.
4. No investment advice, no responsibility for transactions
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, an offer, or a solicitation. Figures may be delayed or incomplete; a value Taosis cannot verify is shown as “—”, never as a zero. Crypto-assets are volatile and you can lose your entire stake. Every transaction you sign is your sole decision and your sole responsibility, including any fee the chain charges and the fee Taosis adds to a swap (15% of the network fee, bundled into the same transaction and shown before you sign). On-chain transactions are final.
5. API usage
The public API is offered without warranty and is rate-limited. Heavy or automated use must be cached on your side; access may be limited or revoked for abuse. See the API documentation.
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. Taosis does not warrant the completeness, timeliness or accuracy of any data, nor uninterrupted availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taosis is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Services or their data, including losses on transactions you signed.
8. Intellectual property
On-chain data is public and not owned by Taosis. The site’s own text, design and code belong to Taosis. Third-party names, logos and trademarks (subnet names, wallet providers, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page changes when they are. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Privacy policy
The short version: Taosis collects as little as possible, sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and never sells data. Effective date: 18 September 2026.
1. What is collected
Page views — counted in Taosis’s own database: the path (never the query string), the referrer host (the domain that linked here, never a full URL) and a random visitor id your browser keeps in its own localStorage. It is not a cookie, is not linked to your identity and follows you nowhere else. No IP address is stored. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, no view is recorded at all.
Wallet address — when you connect a wallet, the extension shares your public address so the page can show your positions and let you sign. Addresses and everything staked to them are public on-chain data; Taosis reads them from the chain. Your private keys and seed phrase never reach Taosis. If you sign a swap through the form, a minimal audit record (address, subnet, side, amount, fee, transaction hash) is kept so fees collected can be accounted for.
Edge logs — the site is served through Cloudflare, which may keep its own aggregate, cookieless statistics as our infrastructure provider.
2. How it is used
To show you your own positions, to understand which pages are used, and to keep the service secure.
3. What Taosis never does
No sale of any data. No advertising cookies, third-party analytics, social pixels, fingerprinting or location tracking. No access to private keys — ever. Subnet logos are served from our own server so that no third-party host sees your IP.
4. Sharing
Data is shared only with the providers needed to run the service — Hostinger International Ltd hosts the server, Cloudflare, Inc. serves DNS and the CDN — each processing it solely for that purpose, and with authorities where the law requires it.
5. Security
Everything is served over HTTPS. Signing happens inside your wallet, never on our server. Your browser’s local storage holds only conveniences — your theme, starred subnets, column choices and the visitor id.
6. Your choices and rights
Disconnect your wallet at any time; clear site data for taosis.com to erase the visitor id and every local preference; turn on “Do Not Track” to opt out of page counting. Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data held about you, and to object to its processing: write to [email protected]. Taosis holds none beyond what this page lists. On-chain data cannot be altered or deleted by anyone; it lives on a public blockchain, not on Taosis.
